Sweden timber Malmbäck is a medium size sawmill and planing mill.

Since 13^th june 2016 we are running this industry that we bought from Bodafors Trä. We are producing an annual volume of about 70 000m3 per year of spruce timber. The mill is located on the regional southern highlands of Sweden which provides the sawmill with good quality spruce timber.

Sweden Timber aquires Hjortkvarn Timber

Sweden Timber has today aquired all shares in Hjortkvarn Timber by the seller Svedulfgruppen.

-Hjortkvarn Timber is today a contructional wood factory with sawmill, planingmill and a impregnationplant were the focus is placed on production of impregnated redwood, so with this aquisition we create strong synergies with the rest of Sweden Timbers existing production sites, says Sweden Timbers Owner/CEO Mikael Arvidsson.

Sweden Timber is hereby taking a position as a niched woodsupplier with long-term goals to be a high ranked supplier of contructional timber to builders merchants and house factories, both in Sweden and the rest of the world.

With the aquisition of Hjortkvarn Timber, Sweden Timber calculates to use the new strength in negotiating of rawmaterials but above all to be able to present an interesting product portfolio for the companys customers.

-Today and in the future, wood will be the most environmental best alternative for building so we look positively on the future, Mikael Arvidsson adds.

The new name will be Sweden Timber Hjortkvarn AB
